Experience the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse in Morgan County, Indiana
The Morgan County Fairgrounds will be a designated viewing area for the 2024 solar eclipse. We have a very limited number of campsites available to be rented for the event for those who would like to stay the weekend in an RV, as well as some space for non-electric tent camping on the grounds. Those driving in for the day are welcome to view the event at the Fairgrounds as well. Watch for more details about watching the eclipse at the Fairgrounds.
The camping fees are as follows:
Area A – Developed Spaces (50 spaces available): $600. These spaces have electrical and water connections. No sewer dumping is available. Electrical service connections are 50 Amp. If your camper is 30 A, you will need a pigtail connector to plug into a 50 Amp outlet.
Area B – Primitive Spaces: $500. (200 spaces available) These spaces have no electrical or water connections available. Spaces are marked 30’ wide by approximately 50’ long.
Area C – Tent Spaces: $200. (No limit on spaces available) These spaces will be 25’ x25’ and are reserved for tents or truck camping only. No water or electricity connections will be available.
