Morgan County Fair Open Beef Show

Saturday July 6, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM

Entries will be accepted on Friday, July 5, 2024, during the 4-H Show Weigh-In from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning, July 6, from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Out-of-town exhibitors wishing to use a “declared” weight may do so.

Entry fee: $15.00 per head (both steers and heifers) and $10.00 per head (feeder calves)

Grand Feeder Calf – $150.00 Reserve Grand Champion Feeder Calf – $50.00
Supreme Champion Heifer – $300.00 Reserve Supreme Champion Heifer – $150.00
Grand Champion Market Animal – $300.00 Reserve Grand Champion Market Animal – $150.00
The top 5 feeders, heifers, and market animals will receive a banner

Classes Offered: Classes will be offered for all Indiana Junior Beef Cattle Association-recognized breeds.
Classes will be broken by weight for feeders, birthday for heifers, and weight for market heifers and
steers. Crossbred/commercial heifers will be shown by weight.
Market heifers will be shown by weight in the market animal division.
Heifer feeders and steer feeders will show together. Dairy-influenced and beef-influenced feeders will
show together.

Animals eligible for participation must meet the following age requirements: feeders born on or after
January 1, 2024; heifers born on or after September 1, 2022; and Steers born on or after January 1,
2023.
